Hatfield Manor's 11th-century architecture, Crown-era stonework, and intact original features require minimal dressing for productions spanning medieval through to the early 20th century. Tower Place Cottage puts the medieval city walls of York directly into your frame.
Deighton House is a large private residence near York set in an acre of mature landscaped grounds — fountains, a paddle court, free-range chicken runs, two wooded areas, allotment, and a large upstairs balcony with unobscured open countryside views. Six bedrooms, music studio, home theatre, dining room, a 9×7m kitchen, and open-plan entertainment space. Film location only.
Five acres of Manor grounds — ancient woodland, farmland, and open meadow — for large-scale exterior shoots. Deighton House offers a completely different exterior register: mature private gardens, rural open countryside, and architectural character without the period constraints of the listed properties.
